A unique opportunity landed in my lap the other day. A local funk band, Zen Groove Funkestra, needed a stand-in guitarist for a gig at Nublu in NYC. That's right, the Big Apple. We braved DC traffic, the BQE, and a long walk from the subway. Another cool surprise: my whole family came out to hear me. How sweet! Check out some of our set above.
