A unique opportunity landed in my lap the other day. A local funk band, Zen Groove Funkestra, needed a stand-in guitarist for a gig at Nublu in NYC. That's right, the Big Apple. We braved DC traffic, the BQE, and a long walk from the subway. Another cool surprise: my whole family came out to hear me. How sweet! Check out some of our set above. I'm hoping that you'll see me around town with these guys in the future.

Back to the Market
I made it out to the Durham Farmers market this year to play some singer-songwriter tunes. Long time partner in musical crime, Eric Early joined me. Good scene, hot weather, and nice folk. Mad props to my wife for chilling at the market with us and grabbing the video.
